 Microsoft Windows 7® Compatibility

Microsoft has just announced their newest Windows Operating System, Windows 7 will be available on October 22, 2009. Windows 7 is the easiest, fastest, and most engaging version of Windows yet.

The OS includes better ways to find and manage files; Jump Lists and the improved taskbar previews help you speed through everyday tasks. Faster and more reliable performance means your PC just works the way you want it to. Great features like Windows Media Center and Windows Touch make new things possible. In fact, Windows 7 Professional even includes XP Mode which allows you to run Windows XP programs from right inside of Windows 7.

Nationwide Consulting Group and The Software Billions Club has been thoroughly testing the new Windows 7 operating system since January, and highly recommends upgrading to Windows 7 when it comes out this fall.

 Sites That Can Save You Thousands : Part 3

The web is supposed to make shopping simple. Click, click, click and before you know it, that sweater, bag, or box of T-bones is at your doorstep. When it works, it’s like magic. But when it doesn’t, you can end up surfing endlessly. Lots of sites claim to make shopping easier.

There are more than two dozen price-comparison search engines alone. Some are worth your time and some aren’t. We’ve scoured the web to come up with a short list of sites that you can count on for great deals every time you shop.

Every month for the rest of 2009 we will be adding a new review of a web site in each newsletter that you can use to save money online. Bookmark them before you buy another thing!

Why we like it We’ve previously recommended the freebie forum at Slickdeals.net, but since then we’ve found another gem. Heyitsfree is a blog that was started by 25 year old Ryan Eubanks when he was in college and broke. He scours the web daily to find offers that are truly worth the bother and posts them on his nicely designed site. Recent deals included a free 14-day supply of Nature Made vitamins, free caulk for windows, and a free downloadable eBook by financial guru Suze Orman.

The giveaways aren’t limited to stuff you have to send away for; Ryan Eubanks also lists in-store promotions such as Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven.

TIP: In addition to scanning the daily blog, click on the product categories that interest you. You’ll pull up older offers, many of which might still be valid. Also check out the links to other freebie sites.
