Microsoft Announces Windows 7® Release Date
|

Microsoft has just announced their newest Windows Operating System, Windows 7 will be available on October 22, 2009. Windows 7 is the easiest, fastest, and most engaging version of Windows yet.
The OS includes better ways to find and manage files; Jump Lists and the improved taskbar previews, help you speed through everyday tasks. Faster and more reliable performance means your PC just works the way you want it to. Great features like Windows Media Center and Windows Touch make new things possible. In fact, Windows 7 Professional even includes XP Mode which allows you to run Windows XP programs from right inside of Windows 7.
Nationwide Consulting Group and The Software Billions Club has been thoroughly testing the new Windows 7 operating system since January, and highly recommends upgrading to Windows 7 when it comes out this fall.

There are more than two dozen price-comparison search engines alone. Some are worth your time and some aren’t. We’ve scoured the web to come up with a short list of sites that you can count on for great deals every time you shop.

Why we like it: Unexpectedly high shipping charges are the No. 1 reason online shoppers don’t make a purchase, according to a new survey by PayPal. This site helps you avoid nasty surprises at checkout.
Click on product category such as “coffee and tea” or “women’s apparel” and scroll down the list to see minimum purchases for free shipping at more than 800 major retailer sites. Under appliances, for example, we quickly zoomed in on a Home Depot special offering 10 percent off any appliance over $399. You can also search by store or about-to-expire offers.
TIP: Check out the site’s blog, which alerts you to changes in stores’ policies and new free-shipping offers.
