 New Credit Card Option --- On Track ... and Coming Soon!

Over the last three month’s we’ve mentioned we’re in the process of migrating to a new payment platform so you don’t have to sign up for PayPal to accept credit card payments. The programming on this type of setup takes a lot of time. While we were aiming to have this new set of features online in January, we’ve pushed back the launch date as we want to add even more features for you before we launch.

Starting the first week in April, you will have the option to continue accepting payments through PayPal OR if you choose orders placed through your bookstore will be handled for you AUTOMATICALLY by The Software Billions Club.

What this means is, essentially, we will be removing the hassle for you AND your customers by processing all of your credit card orders here internally, bypassing the need for a PayPal account. If you do not want to sign up for a PayPal account or if you don’t own a computer, this option is for you! This changeover will happen the first week in April automatically, with no additional actions required on your part. (You will have the option to keep PayPal as your processor, if you choose).

Once a month we will mail you a check for all of the commissions you’ve earned for signing up your customers for their own bookstores (as we’ve been doing) PLUS you’ll also receive a check from us each month for all of the eBook and CD-ROM sales you’ve generated through your bookstore. You’ll be able to easily and instantly track all of your sales online in our Members Area.

This will eliminate the confusion caused by PayPal and is completely hands off for you... whether you own a computer or not, now you’ll be able to accept credit card payments without having to sign up for a PayPal account! Stay tuned!

In addition, by the end of April we will also be adding the ability for you to determine which items are displayed on your store’s home page AND we will be adding the ability for you to change the “theme” of your bookstore sometime between April and May of 2009. Look for all of these exciting feature to be available in the Members Area soon!
