BOOKSTORE UPDATES
 
We’ve been busy this month enhancing your bookstore featuring 250 FREE WEB SITES for you! One of the many updates we’ve made this month is:

We’ve added a new shorter “Username in URL” feature. You now have a newer, shorter way to to bring visitors to your bookstore web sites.

You can use the original bookstore domain name that appears on your green certificate OR you can now also use: www.mallpros.com/store/%username% to bring visitors to your store! The benefit to using the new bookstore address is that it is shorter and easier for customers to find your sites!

We’ve improved your shopping cart by adding an on-site cart for PayPal and Non-PayPal users.
Your bookstore web site now uses the standard cart for PayPal and non-PayPal transactions. If the user has PayPal, a link will appear on the cart page that says "Click Here to Pay Through PayPal". The cart redirects the user to a standard, single total purchase page through PayPal. This allows you the ability to accept payments by PayPal AND cashiers checks, cash, money orders, etc instead of being limited to only payments through PayPal if you are accepting credit card payments. If you are not accepting payments through PayPal then the change does not affect you and your customers will still be able to use the cart to mail or fax orders to you.

We’ve added an Individual Tax Rates feature for each item you’re selling on your store. You can set an individual tax rate on every item by clicking the View Product Catalog link and then “Edit” button next to each item from inside the Members Area. Please note: your PayPal Profile settings from inside your PayPal Account should override this feature.

We’ve added a Custom Customer Service Text feature which allows you the ability to create your own customer service text that appears on the Customer Service page of your bookstore. To make changes log into the Members Area, click on View Bookstore Settings, then Edit Bookstore Settings and enter the information into the “Custom Support Text” box. Entering information into this box will override what we have manually inputted for you. If no custom text is entered, the standard customer service text is displayed. We recommend leaving this box blank.

We’ve added the ability to update the Meta Tags on your bookstore’s home page. You can now view and edit custom meta title, description, and keywords for your bookstore’s home page by clicking on View Bookstore Settings, then Edit Bookstore Settings from inside the Members Area.

Many more features are coming in June! In fact we call June our “One Click” month because we’re adding the ability for you to easily create Buy 1 Get 1 Free offers with one-click and the ability to change the appearance of your bookstore with just one click! Stay tuned for more!
