Nationwide Home Business Center is pleased to announce that daytime talk-show host Oprah Winfrey endorsed eBooks and the Amazon.com Kindle last week on her nationally (and hugely successful) syndicated TV show!

Oprah says she will talk about her Kindle with anyone who's willing to listen. "Anyone who knows me knows I'm really not a gadget person at all, but I have fallen in love with this little baby," she says. "If you're like me and a little computer challenged, do not be afraid of the Kindle—do not be afraid—because you don't even have to have a computer for it to work. That's the brilliant thing about it."

Being able to download a book to your Kindle allows you to take your entire library any place at any time! The Amazon Kindle is equipped to hold about 200 books, but if you pop in a simple memory card, you can have more than 4,000 books at your fingertips. "Before I had this, I had 17 books on vacation this summer," she says. "You don't have to do that anymore!"

The Holiday Season Is Rapidly Approaching!

As you already know, the holiday season is approaching us at an alarming speed. We’ve added a holiday shopping timer to the Members Area to help you keep track of the number of shopping days left in the season.

Time is valuable- Now more than ever. People are in the mood to start spending again and your eBook and CD-ROM products are exactly what they're looking for. eBooks and CD-ROMs make great gifts and CD’s are excellent stocking stuffers.

To increase sales we recommend you do as much advertising as possible over the next two months. The busiest shopping day of the year is the day after Thanksgiving. This year, that day will be Friday, November 28th. In fact, so many people shop on this day, it's very likely that your local newspaper publishes a special "holiday edition" which is distributed on that Friday and is packed full of holiday specials to get you out there purchasing gifts for friends and family.

The gift purchasing season doesn't come to a close until mid to end- January. After the holiday season, we capture sales from people who have exchanged unwanted gifts for, or received money as a Christmas gift.

People want eBooks and CD-ROM software.

In fact, people spent over $18.8 billion in U.S. entertainment software sales for 2007 alone (thats double what was spent in 2002). You have a product people want... now promote your business using the materials we’ve already given you!

The following months will focus on utilizing your sales materials to effectively capture customer sales. Until then, here are a few things you may want to keep in mind with the holiday season approaching.

1. The "Online Shopping" trend is rapidly developing. Each year, more and more people decide to shop at home verses struggling with traffic, parking, bad customer service and long lines at their local retailers. 2. Advertise online using our ** FREE Advertising Web Sites ** located in the Members Area at www.softwarebillionsclub.com. Turn your online ads into "a call to action." Let your customers know they need to order NOW!

3. Offer promotions to people that celebrate other holidays. Families that celebrate Hanukkah or Kwanzaa may feel left out in all the Christmas craziness. Help them with their holiday purchases, and they'll reward you with sales.

4. Target customers who are interested in a specific subject and WANT to buy eBooks and CD-ROMs. For example, you wouldn't try selling The Start Your Own Business CD-ROM to someone (like a student) who is more interested in buying Computer Games or your XBOX eBook.

5. Make sure your advertising (flyers, booklets, etc) indicates that the potential customer is welcome to take a copy. This will ensure that they think about you at a later time if they are unable to make a purchase at that moment. Your advertising should ALWAYS have your web site address on it.

Important Members Area Updates

Nationwide Home Business Center is pleased to announce that starting in 2009 we will no longer require our members to have and accept credit card payments through their own PayPal Merchant Account.

Starting in 2009 all of the orders placed through your bookstore (100% of them) will be handled for you by Nationwide Home Business Center / Software Billions Club. What this means is, essentially, we will be removing the hassle for you and your customers by processing all of your credit card orders here internally, bypassing the need for a PayPal account. This change will occur automatically with no additional actions required on your part.

Once a month we will mail you a check for all of the commissions you’ve earned for signing up your customers for their own bookstores (as we’ve been doing) PLUS you’ll also receive a check from us each month for all of the eBook and CD-ROM sales you’ve made through your bookstore.

You’ll be able to easily and instantly track all of your sales online in our Members Area. This will eliminate the confusion caused by PayPal and is completely hands off for you... whether you own a computer or not, now you’ll be able to accept credit card payments without having to sign up for a PayPal account!
