2009 Members Area & Bookstore Enhancements

- 1-5-09 : We added the “FREE Amazon Kindle eBook Reader Giveaway”
- 1-8-09 : We added Video Training Tutorial links to Support page so they can be accessed easier by our members.
- 2-14-09 : Beginning Phase of Installing New Payment Platform. A new “Store Earnings” icon has been added to the members area. When the new system is in place, you will be able to view your orders by clicking on this new icon.
- 2-17-09 : We added “How To Make Changes To Your Bookstore” Video Tutorial
- 3-2-09 : Filming on our new SBC Training DVD starts today. This new DVD will feature three hosts that guide you through each membership level of the Software Billions Club... plus the video covers all of your membership benefits, quick start instructions, computer training and much more!
- 3-5-09 : Filming on our SBC Training DVD wraps today. We’ve spent an entire week filming this new DVD at our headquarters in Portland, Oregon to provide you with the highest quality, most informative (and entertaining) video possible to ensure your understanding and success with our club.
- 3-17-09 : Moved the Software Billions Club site to a new server and installed the necessary security updates, installed the new membership management system upgrade and begun installing the new credit card acceptance system.
- 3-20-09 : The most noticeable changes: The Edit Bookstore Settings page has been split up into colorful sections by category, and we added detailed information about each section. We also added a new Themes drop down menu which will contain new themes you can use to change the look of your bookstore web sites (coming soon).
We added a new drop down menu in the Payments Accepted area allowing you to choose to accept credit cards through PayPal or only checks and money orders by mail. When our new credit card platform is ready, the option will appear in this area. We added a Store Earnings link which integrates with this new system.
We split your Product Catalog into pages displaying 25 products at a time to ensure the catalog loads faster for you. We also added an Update Account feature that reminds to you update your account every other month.
In addition, 100% free of charge to you, we added OVER 50 NEW banners that you can use to direct traffic to your web sites for FREE! Click Here to view the banners now. We also added a new Web Site of the Month to the Members Area, updated our Free Advertising Web Sites links and our Free Site Submission pages.
You’ve asked us to provide you with brochures that allow you the option to change the price- and we listened. They’re now available in the Members Area (click here). We added new icons and materials to the Resources page. We’ve also added new updated materials for 2009, and you’ll find Log In / Log Out links at the top and bottom of every page on our web site. We also added a Videos link to the bottom of each page.
- 3-25-09 : We upgraded the Member Profile and Account Update Forms and added the Update/Add Credit Card Form.
- 4-6-09 : We added a Browse by “CD-ROMs” and “Physical Books” options to bookstore.
- 4-7-09 : The New Credit Card Option Is Now Available!
- 4-8-09 : We added an 18 minute training video that discusses in great detail how the new credit card option works, how customers order from your store and how you can view your store’s orders from inside the Members Area.
We also updated support documentation in Members Area & in Member Help & Support Center to accurately reflect new payment options and updates made over the last month.
- 4-14-09 : We added Rebranding Instructions so you can quickly and easily customize the New Monthly Products.
- 4-24-09 : Added the ability to change which books appear on your bookstore’s homepage.
- 4-29-09 : Membership Renewal Form now provides instant access to Members Area upon successful renewal. You no longer have to wait for us to manually reactivate your account.
- 5-4-09 : We added 2 Bonus Product Web Sites to Gold / Platinum Bookstores
- 5-13-09 : We added Thumbnails to Monthly Product Archives Page
- 6-2-09 : We added a “How To Use Address Bar” Video Training Tutorial
- 6-17-09 : Editing on the new SBC Training DVD starts today.

Our main focus of 2009 was integrating an option for our members to accept credit cards without having to use PayPal (although you can if you want to) and a large amount of our time was spent focusing on creating video training that would help our members better understand how the club works. We’ve added OVER 50 VIDEOS to the Members Area this year alone!
In 2010 we will continue to add more video training to the Members Area but our larger focus will be on how we can help our members earn more revenue selling their products on and offline.
- We’re in the process of rolling out an enhanced affiliate program which will allow you to not only use the Software Billions Club yourself, but if you sign up members through links online (posted on Twitter, Facebook, etc) you’ll receive 50% commission on each members monthly hosting fees... more details coming soon.
- We will be adding the ability for you to change the “theme” of your bookstore in 2010.
- In 2010 we will begin adding “Video Products” to your Bookstore web sites.
- We will be adding brand new Online Training videos to the Members Area in 2010.
- We will be adding even more bonuses for our GOLD and PLATINUM LEVEL MEMBERS.
- We will be adding more audio and video testimonials from our current members, including adding scans of letters sent in over the years from past successes.
- Executive Video Blog featuring Chad Timothy and other Software Billions Club leaders.
